DELFOOD 10 HD
DELFOOD 10 HD — abrasion resistant delivery hose for dry and abrasive foods such as grain, rice, sugar, flour and animal feed. ID 51–102 mm, working pressure 10 bar, temperature −40…+80 °C.
DELFOOD GRAIN
For the same foods, also at −40…+80 °C:
- DELFOOD GRAIN 10 SD — abrasion resistant suction and delivery hose with a steel helix, vacuum resistant. ID 51–152 mm, working pressure 10 bar.
- DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC — very flexible, abrasion resistant suction and delivery hose with a steel helix and a flat corrugated cover. ID 51–152 mm, working pressure 5 bar.
- DELFOOD GRAIN 10 LF — layflat delivery hose: lays flat when empty, not suitable for suction. ID 80–152 mm, working pressure 10 bar.
Construction
DELFOOD 10 HD and the DELFOOD GRAIN hoses:
- Inner tube: natural rubber (NR), white, smooth, food quality, odourless and tasteless.
- Reinforcement: high strength synthetic textile plies; in DELFOOD GRAIN 10 SD and DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC also a steel helix.
- Cover: EPDM rubber, black, with cloth impression, antistatic, resistant to ozone, weathering and chemicals; smooth, on DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC flat corrugated.
- Electrical properties: antistatic cover; two copper wires for grounding, crossed in DELFOOD GRAIN 10 SD and DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC.
Hot air for bulk tankers
DELFOOD HOT DRY 10 D (delivery, ID 25–76 mm) and DELFOOD HOT DRY 10 SD (suction and delivery with a steel helix, ID 25–102 mm) carry hot dry air from the compressors of road tankers: up to +200 °C, short-term peaks up to +240 °C, working pressure 10 bar. White, smooth EPM inner tube, odourless and tasteless; black EPDM cover resistant to abrasion, ozone and weathering.
Sterilisation
By the series data, DELFOOD 10 HD, DELFOOD GRAIN 10 SD, DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC and DELFOOD GRAIN 10 LF allow sterilisation at up to 110 °C for max. 30 minutes.
Couplings and assembly
Hygienic couplings for food lines — Clamp and Macon — are in food couplings. We assemble hoses with couplings and pressure test them: see hose crimping and assembly.
Supply
In coils — the coil lengths are in the size tables of the series — or cut to length. Delivery across Bulgaria and the EU: see delivery.
