Air hoses

Compressed air: 10 to 40 bar

DELAIR 20 D and DELAIR 20 D YELLOW have high strength textile reinforcement and a working pressure of 20 bar; the burst pressure is 60 bar for DELAIR 20 D and 80 bar for DELAIR 20 D YELLOW. DELAIR 25 D, also with textile reinforcement, is rated 25 bar. DELAIR 40 HD has high tensile steel wire reinforcement: 40 bar for ID 19–51 mm and 30 bar for ID 63–102 mm, burst pressure 160 and 120 bar. DELAIR HOT 40 D 160 °C is rated 40 bar with textile reinforcement, and DELAIR VIBRO 10 D for concrete vibrators is rated 10 bar.

Which compressed air hose

• DELAIR 20 D — black cover, for heavy pneumatic tools in road and railway construction, tunnelling and mining. ID 6–102 mm; ID 6–15 mm in long coils. −30…+80 °C.
• DELAIR 20 D YELLOW — 20 bar, for compressed air and water in docks and on oil rigs: yellow cover resistant to oils, grease and sea water, antistatic inner tube. −30…+80 °C.
• DELAIR 25 D — 25 bar, black cover, for heavy pneumatic tools in road and railway construction, tunnelling and mining. ID 19–102 mm. −30…+80 °C.
• DELAIR 40 HD — steel wire reinforcement, up to 40 bar, yellow cover, for heavy pneumatic tools. −30…+80 °C.
• DELAIR HOT 40 D 160 °C — hot compressed air up to +160 °C for heavy pneumatic tools, 40 bar; for dry air only. ID 51–102 mm.
• DELAIR VIBRO 10 D — for pneumatic concrete vibrators: strong yet very flexible, antistatic cover, 10 bar. ID 19–25 mm, −20…+70 °C.

DELAIR 20 D YELLOW can be supplied with a copper wire for grounding on request.

Choosing the hose

The working pressure of the hose must be higher than the maximum pressure of the compressor. On long lines, a larger ID keeps the pressure loss lower. Match the ID to the connection: 1/2" = 13 mm, 3/4" = 19 mm, 1" = 25 mm, 1¼" = 32 mm, 1½" = 38 mm, 2" = 51 mm.

Welding and cutting

DELWELD 20 OXYGEN (oxygen and argon, blue cover), DELWELD 20 ACETYLENE (acetylene, red cover) and the twin hose DELWELD 20 TWIN (an oxygen line and an acetylene line, blue and red cover) are gas lines for welding and cutting equipment; DELWELD 20 PROPANE (propane and compressed natural gas, orange cover) is for welding equipment and industrial use. They are rated 20 bar, work from −25 to +80 °C and come in long coils; ID 6–25 mm, for DELWELD 20 TWIN and DELWELD 20 PROPANE 6–9 mm.

Suction: fumes, wood chips and exhaust gases

• DELVAC, DELVAC LITE — suction hoses for air, fumes and wood chips: steel helix, corrugated cover, conductive inner tube and antistatic cover; DELVAC LITE is very light. ID 25–203 mm, up to +90 °C; the permissible vacuum depends on the size.
• DELEXHAUST 170 °C, DELEXHAUST 170 °C PLUS — exhaust extraction hoses up to +170 °C: DELEXHAUST 170 °C is light and crush resistant, for floor channels, reels and overhead rails in garages, body shops and test centres; DELEXHAUST 170 °C PLUS for cars and commercial vehicles keeps its round shape on reels after long intensive use.
• DELEXHAUST 250 °C, DELEXHAUST 500 °C — for very hot exhaust gases, up to +250 °C and +500 °C, on reels and overhead rails: aluminised glass fibre cloth inside, aramid fabric cover with an external steel helix, smooth cuffs at both ends. ID 100–254 mm; DELEXHAUST 500 °C also in a version up to +1000 °C on request.

Supply and assembly

Most series are supplied in coils — the coil lengths are in the size table of each series — or cut to length; for DELEXHAUST 250 °C and DELEXHAUST 500 °C the length is on request.
