Suction and delivery or delivery only
DELOIL 10 SD has a steel helix and is vacuum resistant: it works on the suction side of a pump and for delivery as well. DELOIL 10 D has textile cord reinforcement without a helix and works under pressure only. DELOIL 10 SD and DELOIL 10 D carry fuels and petroleum products with up to 50% aromatics, at a working pressure of 10 bar and −30…+80 °C. The same choice between a delivery hose (D) and a suction and delivery hose (SD) exists in DELOIL 16, DELJET 20, DELGAS LPG 25, DELMARINE FUEL and DELDRILLING MUD.

Which hose for which task
- Road tankers and fuel distribution — DELOIL 16 D, DELOIL 16 SD, DELOIL TANKER 10 SD LITE. DELOIL 16 D for delivery and DELOIL 16 SD for suction and delivery: ID 19–152 mm, 16 bar, flame resistant antistatic cover; a version with a conductive inner tube is available for ID 19–102 mm. DELOIL TANKER 10 SD LITE is a very light and flexible suction and delivery hose: ID 51–102 mm, 10 bar.
- Small bores in long coils — DELOIL 10 D LL, DELOIL 10 D LL AS, DELOIL 20 D LL, DELOIL 10 D LL BRAID. Delivery hoses for mineral oils, diesel and petrol, ID up to 25 mm, in coils of 50 and 100 m: DELOIL 10 D LL (10 bar), DELOIL 10 D LL AS with an antistatic inner tube and cover (10 bar, −40…+100 °C), DELOIL 20 D LL (20 bar, biodiesel up to 100%) and DELOIL 10 D LL BRAID with a textile braid, from ID 3 mm, for engines.
- Very flexible suction and delivery hoses — DELOIL 10 SD GR, DELOIL 5 SD CR, DELOIL 5 SD FC, DELOIL 10 SD FC, DELOIL 17 SD FC. Hoses for mineral oils, diesel and petrol with a helix grooved cover (DELOIL 10 SD GR, 10 bar), a corrugated cover (DELOIL 5 SD CR, 5 bar) or a flat corrugated cover (DELOIL 5 SD FC, DELOIL 10 SD FC and DELOIL 17 SD FC: 5, 10 and up to 17 bar); antistatic cover, copper wire for grounding. - Aircraft ground refuelling — DELJET 20 D, DELJET 20 SD, DELJET 20 SD PL. Hoses for aviation fuel with a conductive inner tube and cover: DELJET 20 D for delivery, DELJET 20 SD with a steel helix and the crush resistant DELJET 20 SD PL with a plastic helix for suction and delivery. ID 19–102 mm, 20 bar.
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) — DELGAS LPG 25 TYPE D, DELGAS LPG 25 TYPE SD. A delivery hose and a suction and delivery hose with a steel helix: conductive inner tube and cover, flame resistant pin pricked cover. ID 13–102 mm, 25 bar.
- Hose reels and layflat lines — DELOIL 18 D REEL, DELOIL 15 LF. DELOIL 18 D REEL is a delivery hose designed for hose reels: ID 19–51 mm, 18 bar. DELOIL 15 LF is a layflat delivery hose that lays flat when empty and is not suitable for suction: ID 76–203 mm, 15 bar.
- Marine engines on leisure boats up to 24 m — DELMARINE FUEL D LL, DELMARINE FUEL 10 D, DELMARINE FUEL 5 SD. Hoses for diesel, biodiesel and petrol with a self-extinguishing cover: DELMARINE FUEL D LL in long coils (ID 6.8–19 mm, up to 3.4 bar), DELMARINE FUEL 10 D for delivery (10 bar) and DELMARINE FUEL 5 SD for suction and delivery (5 bar), ID 19–51 mm.
- Bunkering and dock service — DELOIL BUNKER 15 D, DELOIL BUNKER 20 D, DELOIL BUNKER 27 D, DELOIL DOCK 15 SD. Transfer of crude oil and fuel blends: the delivery hoses DELOIL BUNKER 15 D (ID 51–302 mm), DELOIL BUNKER 20 D and 27 D (ID 76–152 mm) for 15, 20 and 27 bar, and the suction and delivery hose DELOIL DOCK 15 SD (ID 51–302 mm, 15 bar), also suitable for pumping sea water.
- Crude oil offshore and onshore — DELOIL DOCK 20 SD, DELOIL 27 SD HW, DELOIL 40 SD HW. Suction and delivery hoses for crude oil and fuel blends: DELOIL DOCK 20 SD (ID 76–152 mm, 20 bar) and the heavy duty DELOIL 27 SD HW and DELOIL 40 SD HW (ID 102–203 mm, 27 and 40 bar).
- Oil rig services — DELDRILLING MUD 20 D, DELDRILLING MUD 27 D, DELDRILLING MUD 20 D X, DELDRILLING MUD 20 SD. Hoses for drilling muds and crude oil: delivery hoses for 20 and 27 bar, DELDRILLING MUD 20 D X with an X-NBR inner tube for high abrasion resistance, and DELDRILLING MUD 20 SD for suction and delivery. ID 76–152 mm; DELDRILLING MUD 20 D up to 305 mm, DELDRILLING MUD 20 SD up to 254 mm. These hoses are also listed under abrasive hoses.
DELOIL 27 SD HW, DELOIL 40 SD HW and the DELOIL BUNKER, DELOIL DOCK and DELDRILLING MUD hoses have a flame retardant cover that resists sea water, oils and ozone.
Static electricity
DELOIL 10 SD and DELOIL 10 D have a copper wire for grounding; the cover of DELOIL 10 SD is antistatic. In the other series the electrical properties vary — see the construction of each series: the DELJET and DELGAS LPG hoses have a conductive inner tube and cover (R ≤ 10⁶ Ω); DELOIL 10 D LL AS an antistatic inner tube and cover; DELOIL TANKER 10 SD LITE an antistatic inner tube and a copper wire for grounding; DELOIL 16 D, DELOIL 16 SD, DELOIL 27 SD HW, DELOIL 40 SD HW and the DELOIL BUNKER, DELOIL DOCK and DELDRILLING MUD hoses two crossed copper wires for grounding. Choosing the size
Match the hose ID to the connection. For inch connections: 1" = 25 mm, 1½" = 38 mm, 2" = 51 mm, 3" = 76 mm, 4" = 102 mm. DELOIL 10 SD and DELOIL 10 D are available in all of these sizes.
Special conditions
- DELOIL ARCTIC −55 °C — tank truck hose for mineral oil products and fuels at extremely low temperatures; retains flexibility at low temperature. Textile cord and steel helix, blue flat corrugated cover. ID 51–102 mm, 10 bar, −55…+90 °C.
- DELOIL +180 °C 15 SD — suction and delivery hose for hot mineral oils, tar and asphalt: FKM inner tube, steel helix, antistatic and flame resistant cover, copper wire for grounding. ID 76–127 mm, 15 bar, −30…+180 °C; the maximum temperature depends on the medium.
