Liquid food: milk, dairy products, edible oils

DELFOOD MILK 10 SD and DELFOOD MILK 10 D carry milk, dairy products, olive oil and other fatty foods. Their inner tube is white, smooth NBR rubber of food quality, odourless and tasteless; working pressure 10 bar, temperature −40…+80 °C.

• DELFOOD MILK 10 SD — suction and delivery: textile plies and a steel helix, vacuum up to 0.9 bar. ID 19–102 mm.
• DELFOOD MILK 10 D — delivery only: textile plies without a helix. ID 19–102 mm.
• DELFOOD MILK 10 SD LITE — light, crush resistant suction and delivery hose for the same foods, with a plastic helix and a white natural rubber inner tube. ID 38–102 mm.
• DELFOOD TANKER 10 SD — milk collection tanker hose: very flexible, highly abrasion resistant suction and delivery hose for milk and fatty foods. ID 51–102 mm.
• DELFOOD 10 SD — multipurpose suction and delivery hose with an EPDM inner tube for fatty foods, wine, beer, potable water and other foods, up to +140 °C. ID 19–152 mm.

• DELWINE 10 D, DELWINE 10 SD, DELWINE 10 SD LITE — wine, fruit juice and soft drinks with up to 50% alcohol; EPDM inner tube, not for fatty foods, −40…+120 °C.
• DELSPIRIT 10 SD — alcohol up to 96%, wine, beer and potable water; translucent UPE inner tube, −20…+80 °C.
• DELDRINK 20 D — delivery hose for potable water and fruit juice, 20 bar; translucent UPE inner tube, −20…+60 °C.

Dry food: grain, flour and sugar

DELFOOD 10 HD is made for dry and abrasive foods such as grain, rice, sugar, flour and animal feed. The white natural rubber inner tube is of food quality, the cover is antistatic, and two copper wires serve for grounding. ID 51–102 mm, working pressure 10 bar, −40…+80 °C.

The same foods are carried by DELFOOD GRAIN 10 SD and the flexible DELFOOD GRAIN 5 SD FC, suction and delivery hoses with ID 51–152 mm, and by the layflat DELFOOD GRAIN 10 LF, ID 80–152 mm; they too have a white natural rubber inner tube of food quality, an antistatic cover and copper wires for grounding. DELFOOD HOT DRY 10 D and DELFOOD HOT DRY 10 SD carry hot dry air from the compressors of road tankers, up to +200 °C.

• DELPHARMA SIL D, DELPHARMA SIL SD — silicone hoses for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food products, −50…+200 °C, 5 bar, ID 19–63.5 mm.
• DELPHARMA FEP-SIL 10 SD, DELPHARMA FEP 16 SD, DELPHARMA FEP 16 SD FC — suction and delivery hoses with a FEP inner tube for the same products, up to +170 °C, 10 or 16 bar, ID 19–76 mm; two crossed copper wires for grounding.

Washdown in food production

DELSTEAM FOOD 170 °C is a washdown hose for floors and equipment in food production: hot water up to +100 °C at 21 bar, steam up to +170 °C at 7 bar. White EPM inner tube of food quality, odourless and tasteless; ID 13–51 mm. The series is also listed under steam hoses.

Sterilization

By the series data, the DELFOOD MILK, DELFOOD TANKER 10 SD, DELFOOD 10 SD, DELBREW, DELWINE, DELSPIRIT 10 SD, DELDRINK 20 D, DELFOOD 10 HD and DELFOOD GRAIN hoses allow sterilization at up to 110 °C for max. 30 minutes. The data of DELPHARMA, DELSTEAM FOOD 170 °C and DELFOOD HOT DRY give no sterilization limit — ask us.

Food couplings

Our catalogue includes food couplings in stainless steel — Clamp (tri-clamp) and Macon — and seals for them. We fit couplings to food hoses and pressure test the assembly: see hose crimping and assembly.
