Suction side and delivery side of a pump
The suction side of a pump needs a hose with a steel helix that keeps its shape under vacuum: DELFLEX 10 SD. It is rated for delivery as well, so one hose can serve both sides. On the delivery side, DELFLEX 10 D is enough: a strong, very flexible hose with textile reinforcement and no helix, ID 6–60 mm. For waste water, slurry and drainage there is also DELFLEX 10 SD CR, a corrugated suction and delivery hose in cut lengths with smooth cuffs at both ends, ID 51–609 mm. For long delivery lines, layflat hoses take less space.
DELFLEX 10 SD for suction and delivery
- Suction and delivery hose for water, waste water and inert fluids: pumps and agricultural sprinkler systems.
- High strength textile plies and steel helix; vacuum from 0.5 to 0.9 bar depending on the size.
- SBR inner tube, EPDM on request.
- ID 19–305 mm, working pressure 10 bar, −30…+80 °C.
Choosing the size
Match the hose ID to the pump connection. For inch connections: 2" = 51 mm, 2½" = 63.5 mm, 3" = 76 mm, 4" = 102 mm, 6" = 152 mm. DELFLEX 10 SD is available in all of these sizes; DELFLEX 10 D goes up to ID 60 mm.

Hot water and cleaning
DELSTEAM 10 D 120 °C is a delivery hose for hot water mixed with unsaturated steam, well suited to low pressure washers: −40…+120 °C, working pressure 10 bar, ID 10–60 mm. DELHOT CLEAN 10 D carries hot potable water and detergents in industrial washing machines and for washdown in dairies and poultry farms; its inner tube is of food quality, ID 6–13 mm. DELHOT 20 D LL is an antistatic hose for hot water and coolants at up to 20 bar, also for low pressure washdown, ID 8–25 mm.

Coolant and cooling water
- DELSTEAM 3 D 120 °C, DELSTEAM 5 SD GR 120 °C — EPDM radiator hoses for hot water and coolants in engine cooling and heating systems, up to +120 °C. DELSTEAM 3 D 120 °C: 3 bar, ID 13–110 mm; DELSTEAM 5 SD GR 120 °C: suction and delivery, 5 bar, helix grooved cover, very flexible for tight spaces.
- DELCOOLING SIL 3 D, DELCOOLING SIL HEATER LL — silicone hoses up to +180 °C: DELCOOLING SIL 3 D for engine cooling systems, DELCOOLING SIL HEATER LL for heaters in vehicles and machines.
- DELCOOLING SIL 5 SD, DELCOOLING SIL 5 SD GR — silicone suction and delivery hoses with a steel helix, up to +200 °C, for hot air and water in engine cooling systems; DELCOOLING SIL 5 SD GR has a helix grooved cover for very tight routing.
- DELCOOLING SIL 5 D — silicone hose with aramid fibre reinforcement for hot water and coolants up to +250 °C in engine cooling systems.
- DELCOOL 10 SD, DELCOOL 5 SD FC, DELCOOL 5 SD GR — suction and delivery hoses for modern coolants, including OAT coolants, in data centre cooling: peroxide cured EPM inner tube free of calcium and zinc, flame retardant cover, −40…+120 °C. DELCOOL 10 SD for 10 bar; DELCOOL 5 SD FC and DELCOOL 5 SD GR, 5 bar, for tight installations.
- DELHOT GLASS 10 D, DELHOT GLASS 20 D — cooling water in steel mills, glass works and other hot environments: the glass fibre cover withstands outside temperatures up to +530 °C and occasional contact with molten material. 10 and 20 bar; DELHOT GLASS 20 D is non-conductive.
Boats, oil rigs and snow guns
- DELMARINE EXHAUST 3 SD, DELMARINE SAN 10 SD — for leisure boats up to 24 m: engine cooling water and wet exhaust gases (3 bar, self-extinguishing cover), toilets and sanitary systems (odour-tight butyl inner tube, 10 bar).
- DELRIG AQUA 20 D, DELRIG AQUA 35 SD — potable water on offshore oil rigs: food quality inner tube, orange cover resistant to sea water, two crossed copper wires for grounding; 20 bar delivery or 35 bar suction and delivery, ID 51–152 mm.
- DELFIRE-WATER 20 D — fire water deluge systems on oil rigs: steel cord reinforcement, fire resistant cover with glass fibre layers, 20 bar, ID 51–152 mm.
- DELFLEX SNOW 60 D — water supply to snow guns at up to 60 bar, ID 25–38 mm.
Supply and assembly
Most series are supplied in coils or cut to length; the coil lengths are in the size tables. DELFLEX 10 D in ID 6–19 mm, DELHOT CLEAN 10 D, DELHOT 20 D LL and DELCOOLING SIL HEATER LL come in long coils. DELFLEX 10 SD CR is supplied in cut lengths with smooth cuffs at both ends, DELCOOLING SIL 3 D in lengths of 1 m and 4 m.
